Description of New Computers

The new computers being installed in the MSC are of the following type:

Model: Dell GMT+5100
Minitower case design
Intel Pentium 100 MHz CPU
16 megabytes RAM
850 megabyte hard disk
The units that will be placed in the lab will also have a CD-ROM drive

The monitors are as follows:

15" screen (measured diagonally)
Trinitron tube (vertically flat to reduce glare)
Supports resolutions of at least 1024x768 at 72Hz refresh rate
Dot pitch of .28 or smaller
